How To Boost Your List's Response Rate

Every marketer needs to have a responsive list.Just having a list is one thing ,making it work for you is another.Your list needs to be responsive.Your prospects have to feel that you are an authority in your niche and thatthey can trust you and that your articles and advice are helpful and useful. If your list is unresponsive then you are wasting your time.End of story. So what can you do to boost your list's response rate?1) Make sure that your emails are delivered and opened. When people opt in to your list you will need to give them"White Listing' instructions so that your email wont be classified as spam. You cant expect to have a responsive list if half of your emails donot even reach their inbox. Getting them to open their emails is harder than you think, but if your emails are personalized and reachout to their 'needs' and you have built their trust, then your email openrates will improve.2) Give them what they want.Stop and ask yourself this question. Are you more concerned with making moneypromoting other people's products or are you nurturing your list and giving them what theywant? Most marketers are too busy trying to sell everything that they get their hands on to their list. Then they wonder why hardly anyone is buying. You should be focusing on giving them quality content and building a relationshipbuilt on trust first. Then try selling to them. People dont want to be bombarded with emails asking you to buy this and try that evey single day.It is almost like spamming.3) Dont overdo the hard sell.If you spam your list too much they will start ignoring your emails. You should pamper them as much as you can, giving them free reports and free resources.Make them feel like they are important, after all they are the backbone of your business. If you just sell, sell ,sell, you will drive them away. If you make some of these changesyou will find them to be more responsive to you.4) Target your leads correctly. The best possible way to get a responsive list is to have highly targeted leads. When people opt in to your list they need to know exactly what you are offering them, otherwise you will have a list full of people that are not interested in anythingthat you have to offer and most of them will unsubscribe. Even though this seems obvious, people make this mistake all the time. There is no use advertising a money making report in a website for racing cars, you may get a few responses but you can be cerain that they will all unsubscribe because they are interested in racing cars, not internet marketing. If you adverise in ezines related to your niche, write articles, hang out in forums and leave a link links back to your offer you will find that you can build a much more responsive list.
